During the summer, we live in and manage our alpine hut in "La Manche" with around 20 hectares of land. Up here, our cows find over 100 different alpine herbs and grasses. This results in healthy and rich alpine milk. At 1500 metres above sea level, we produce our unique alpine cheese.

Seven days a week

Get up early and then work precisely: on our alp, 1-2 employees take care of about 23 cows, 10 cattle and four chickens.

Around 250 litres of milk are processed into cheese every day. It takes cleanliness, precision and experience to make about 20 kg of the best Bernese alpine cheese.
